Mahjong Room

Data Deletion

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Mahjong Room has no user accounts. There is nothing to close and no password to reset. Deleting your data means two separate things: wiping what is on your device, and asking us to erase what our providers hold. Both are covered below.

1. Deleting the data on your device

Your progress, boosters, Daily Challenge streak, profile name, avatar and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone. Removing them is immediate and entirely under your control.

Android

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Mahjong Room → Storage.
  2. Tap Clear data (or Clear storage).

Or simply uninstall the Game: long-press its icon → Uninstall.

iOS

  1. Open Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Mahjong Room.
  2. Tap Delete App. (“Offload App” keeps the data — choose Delete.)

Or long-press the icon on the home screen → Remove App → Delete App.

This is irreversible. There is no cloud save. Every level you have unlocked, every booster you hold and your entire Daily Challenge streak are gone, and we cannot restore them.

2. Requesting erasure from us

To erase the analytics events, crash reports and advertising data our providers hold for your installation, send an email:

No proof of identity is needed, because we hold nothing that identifies you personally. For the same reason, we can only act on the identifiers you give us.

3. Finding your Player Data ID

The Game shows it to you: open Settings → Privacy → Data Deletion and tap the ID to copy it to the clipboard, then paste it into your email.

The Player Data ID is the anonymous app-instance identifier our analytics provider assigns to your installation. It is not linked to your name, your Google or Apple account, or any other app. It changes if you reinstall the Game — so if you have already uninstalled, use the fallback details in section 2 instead.

4. What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your request, normally within a few days and in any case within 30 days, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR. If a request is unusually complex we may extend this by up to two further months and will tell you why.
  2. We issue a deletion instruction for the identifiers you supplied to Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics.
  3. Deletion propagates through the providers' systems, which can take up to a further 60 days including their backup cycles.
  4. We confirm to you by email when it is done.

The request is free of charge. You can also use the same address to exercise your other rights — access, rectification, restriction, objection and portability — described in the Privacy Policy.

5. What we cannot delete for you

6. Google Play Games and Game Center

If you signed in to post achievements or a leaderboard score, that data belongs to your platform account and is deleted through the platform, not through us:

7. Contact

Email is the preferred and fastest channel — a request sent by post is answered too, but it delays the whole procedure:

If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may complain to your national data protection authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
